Our choir is open to any adult who loves singing, whether you are a complete beginner, a rusty returner, or an experienced choir member. There are no auditions and you do not need to read music; we learn together in a relaxed and supportive environment. All voice parts are welcome, and we do our best to make rehearsals accessible and welcoming to people of all backgrounds. If you enjoy singing, good company, and being part of the local community, you are very welcome to join us.

What can you expect?
You can expect friendly, relaxed weekly rehearsals where we focus on singing a mix of well-known songs and uplifting new pieces in a welcoming atmosphere. We meet every Wednesday in Hessle Methodist Church's rehersal room at 7:30pm. There is time for learning in sections, singing together as a full choir, with breaks to chat and get to know people. Across the year we work towards local performances and community events, but there is no pressure to be perfect as the emphasis is on enjoyment, confidence, and singing as a group.
